Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time position for an office manager with 5 years' experience in the legal industry. The office manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the law firm, ensuring a well-organized, efficient, and professional environment. This role supports attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff, manages office finances and vendor relationships, manages employee benefits, and helps maintain compliance with legal and ethical obligations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in legal-office operations.
Qualifications Required
- 5 years previous experience as a law firm office manager or in a similar administrative role
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, processes, and office operations.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Proficiency with legal practice management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field.
- Experience with billing/accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks and Clio).
- Familiarity with HR best practices.
