In support of this mission, the SAP SuccessFactors Manager manages the Human Capital Management (HCM) Systems under the IT Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. The HCM Systems includes Personnel Administration, Organizational Management, Recruitment and Onboarding, Time and Attendance, Payroll and Benefits, Performance and Compensation, and Learning Management, and other modules as needed.

Position Responsibilities
The SAP SuccessFactors Manager is responsible for application development, maintenance, and support activities for the HCM Systems which include the following:
- Provide leadership and management of the IT ERP/HCM application portfolio, current and future application architecture, ongoing configuration and strategy direction.
- Oversee the functional and technical configurations of SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Learning).
- Manage integrations with other systems.
- Partner with IT leadership and business departments in the development, prioritization, and implementation of strategic plans / roadmaps for new technology solutions which align with organizational goals, improve operations, and enhance business efficiency.
- Serve as the IT liaison leading discussions to plan and coordinate short and long-term goals and objectives of the IT ERP/HCM Program.
- Develop and implement methods and systems to monitor progress toward attaining goals and objectives of the IT ERP/HCM Program.
- Direct the activities of multiple technical and operational staffs for application configuration and support, empowering and encouraging innovation.
- Provide technical and functional leadership and mentoring for less experienced colleagues as required.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the overall design of the IT ERP/HCM Systems; provide direction for end user role-based security administration; coordinate responses to audit requests; and support application risk assessments (e.g., data, security, SOX controls) including assisting in determining inadequacies and deficiencies, and developing risk mitigation and remediation plans.
- Work closely with technical infrastructure teams on system and technology integrations and technical architecture design.
- Manage effective working relationships with other departments, groups, and personnel.
- Work directly with the IT ERP/HCM System Vendors.
- Maintain a high level of system support and availability to ensure customer service expectations and requirements are met or exceeded and regularly report on service level agreements (SLAs).
- Provide technical guidance and management of the IT governance framework, Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, and related IT policies and procedures; seek out and recommend continuous improvement opportunities to enable IT process standardization and optimization.
- Provide oversight and direction in all phases of the software development life cycle from analysis and design, configuration, program modification, testing, documentation, and implementation; develop and implement best practices for application development and maintenance
- Support organizational change management and training to ensure application solutions are adopted and fully utilized.
- Forecast costs and maintain budgets.
- Assist with development of RFIs, RFPs, and evaluation criteria for vendor proposals, products, and services.
- Strive to continually learn new SAP functionality while deepening knowledge in assigned functional areas by participating in SAP user community and continuous learning opportunities.

Skills and Experience (Required)
- Minimum 5 years’ supervisory experience leading SuccessFactors teams.
- Minimum 3 years’ functional configuration and technical experience supporting SAP Employee Central (EC) core HR and Payroll Central
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with one or more other modules (Recruiting. Onboarding, Compensation, Learning, Performance & Goals, Time Management, and Benefits Administration).
- Advanced to expert-level knowledge and understanding of IT SDLC processes including IT service management concepts and implementation methodologies.
- Very strong conceptual, analytical, planning, budgeting, project management, judgement and communication abilities are critical. The individual should demonstrate initiative, exercise good judgement, and have the ability to achieve results through others.
- Proven ability to manage a portfolio of multiple concurrent projects serving multiple constituencies and sponsors.
- Proven experience in leading functional and technical teams and providing significant technical and non-technical mentorship.
- Proven experience managing software vendors and contract requirements.
- Strong business acumen and customer relationship management skills.
- Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products and organizational change management (OCM).
Education (Required)
- 4-year college degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or other relevant fields.
Skills and Experience (Preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience with at least 1 full cycle SuccessFactors implementation.
- Knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies.
