- Collaborates with senior leadership to develop long-term strategies related to workforce and organizational effectiveness.
- Aligns organizational development initiatives with overarching business goals and objectives.
- Provides day to day coordination and supervision of staff in the organizational development department.
- Manages the budget for organizational development programs and initiatives.
- Leads and manages change initiatives to ensure smooth transitions and minimize disruption.
- Develops strategies to foster employee engagement and support throughout organizational changes.
- Oversees training and development programs to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and career advancement.
- Implements succession planning to identify and develop future leaders within the Agency.
- Designs and oversees performance management systems that align employee performance with agency goals.
- Provides guidance and resources to managers and staff to improve performance and feedback processes.
- Develops initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and create a positive, inclusive work environment.
- Conducts surveys and assessments to measure employee engagement and satisfaction, using insights to inform improvements.
- Offers coaching and mentoring programs to enhance leadership capabilities and employee development.
- Supports management in developing effective coaching techniques and practices.
- Fosters cross-departmental collaboration to promote a unified approach to organizational development.
- Communicates the value and impact of development initiatives across all levels of the organization.
- Ensures organizational development practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, or related field, or, a bachelor’s degree in one of these areas plus five years of relevant professional experience. (COPY OF TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED AT TIME OF APPLICATION)
- At least five years experience in strategic planning and change management.
- Experience with talent development.
- Knowledge of organizational development and change management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and lead cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical, communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with performance management systems.
