## Essential Functions

• Serves as Statewide Child Welfare Employee Licensure (CWEL)
  
  

Administrator.

• Plans, directs, and administers the OLPD Child Welfare Employee
  
  

Licensure Complaint process

• Schedules, attends, and facilitates all Emergency Licensure Review
  
  

Team and CWEL Board Meetings.

• Serves as full line supervisor of subordinate staff.
• Develops, implements, and monitors CWEL Program Best Practice
  
  

Policies, Rules, and Procedures.

• Serves as a principal spokesperson for the CWEL Program before
  
  

internal and external stakeholders and othergovernmental entities.

• Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably
  
  

within the scope of the duties enumeratedabove.

## Minimum Qualifications

• Requires graduation from an accredited law school and possession of
  
  

a valid license to practice law in Illinois.

• Requires four years of administrative experience in the practice of
  
  

law.

## Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years\' experience managing or administering a program or service
  
  

in a private or private organization.

• 3 years\' experience supervising professional staff who are
  
  

responsible for administering a complex, highly regulatedprogram.

• 4 years\' experience in the development and implementation of rules,
  
  

policies, and procedures.

• 4 years professional experience in the oversight of a large program
  
  

with multiple sites or teams of subordinate staff atdifferent

locations.
