The Position
A leading global law firm is seeking a Healthcare Regulatory Associate to join its Chicago office. This is an exceptional opportunity to advise healthcare providers, health systems, private equity sponsors, life sciences companies, and other industry participants on a broad range of complex regulatory matters.
The successful candidate will work on sophisticated healthcare regulatory issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, strategic affiliations, joint ventures, compliance programs, government investigations, reimbursement matters, fraud and abuse laws, licensing, and day-to-day operational matters. Associates will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary deal teams, provide practical guidance to clients navigating an evolving regulatory landscape, and play a key role in high-profile healthcare transactions.
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Active bar admission in Illinois or eligibility to obtain admission promptly.
- Experience advising clients on healthcare regulatory matters in a law firm environment.
- Familiarity with federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, including fraud and abuse, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, HIPAA, reimbursement, licensing, and compliance issues is preferred.
