About the Practice:
The Employment Litigation team represents employers in a wide range of workplace disputes, providing strategic counsel and litigation defense under all employment laws. Associates in this practice work closely with clients on compliance matters, policy development, training, and risk management strategies. While prior experience in employment law is preferred, candidates with strong litigation backgrounds and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handling litigation matters from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and mediations.
- Advising clients on employment-related compliance, policies, and best practices.
- Drafting and revising employee handbooks and workplace policies.
- Conducting training sessions and educating clients through innovative technology platforms.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of litigation experience, preferably in employment law.
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- A proactive and team-oriented mindset.
- Admission to the Oregon Bar or eligibility for admission.
