iLevelUP is a future-readiness platform built to support students through the complex journey of college and career preparation. It transforms what is often a confusing and overwhelming process into a guided, engaging, and interactive experience where learners complete quests, earn rewards, and gain confidence as they prepare for life after high school. The platform uses AI-driven personalization and a gamified design to make future planning more accessible and motivating for students who face barriers to traditional support systems.

Why We Exist

Many students, especially first-generation or underrepresented students, lack consistent access to trusted guidance on college applications, financial aid, scholarships, and career exploration. iLevelUP was created to bridge that gap by offering a comprehensive suite of tools and mentorship that meets students where they are — digitally, intuitively, and with clear pathways toward success.

• Educators and School Programs Schools, counselors, and college readiness programs can use iLevelUP to augment their support systems with AI-powered tools and gamified engagement that complements existing efforts.

Help maintain a welcoming, safe, and useful online community for iLevelUP participants exploring education, careers, financial capability, and life readiness.

We are seeking volunteer Forum Moderators to review community activity, encourage constructive participation, enforce approved guidelines, and escalate safety concerns involving underserved youth and young people.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned discussion areas and review flagged content
• Apply community guidelines consistently and document moderation actions
• Encourage respectful, relevant, inclusive, and age-appropriate participation
• Identify harassment, scams, unsafe contact, privacy risks, self-harm concerns, or other urgent issues
• Escalate safeguarding, legal, technical, or wellbeing concerns through approved procedures
• Protect personal information and discourage off-platform contact
• Answer routine questions or route them to qualified staff and volunteers
• Report recurring issues and recommend community-guideline or product improvements
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in online-community moderation, youth programs, education, customer support, trust and safety, or digital communications
• Calm judgment, empathy, consistency, discretion, and clear writing
• Ability to follow escalation protocols without attempting counseling or investigation
• Willingness to complete screening, youth-safeguarding, privacy, and platform training
• Reliable availability for an agreed moderation schedule
  
  

This is a remote, recurring role available within the United States. Expect approximately 3–6 hours per week for at least six months.
