Help iLevelUP and Believe in Me maintain accurate, consistent, trustworthy data that supports programs and digital services for underserved youth and young people.

We are seeking a volunteer Data Integrity Specialist to identify data-quality issues, define validation rules, coordinate corrections, and improve preventive controls across applications, CRM, analytics, fundraising, volunteer, and program systems.

Responsibilities

• Profile approved datasets for completeness, validity, consistency, uniqueness, and timeliness
• Identify duplicates, missing values, invalid relationships, conflicting definitions, and unusual patterns
• Define data-quality rules, thresholds, exception reports, and correction workflows
• Investigate root causes with system owners and recommend preventive fixes
• Support controlled deduplication, standardization, reconciliation, and migration validation
• Maintain data dictionaries, issue logs, ownership, and resolution evidence
• Collaborate with data engineering, architecture, integration, analytics, security, and programs
• Protect sensitive information and follow approved change procedures
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience in data quality, database operations, analytics, CRM administration, data governance, or business analysis
• Strong SQL, spreadsheet, profiling, reconciliation, and documentation skills
• Careful judgment and ability to distinguish true errors from legitimate variation
• Understanding of privacy, access control, auditability, and change management
• Nonprofit, education, Salesforce, or cloud-data experience is helpful
  
  

This is a remote, recurring volunteer role open worldwide. Expect approximately 4–8 hours per month.
