The Role
Our client, a new experiential museum in Times Square, is hiring Reveler Actors for a live, guest-facing performance role inside its newest exhibit — an immersive re-creation of the final countdown to midnight on New Year's Eve in Times Square.
This isn't a costumed meet-and-greet — it's a live show. Guests step into a themed space, and you lead them through a recreation of the final countdown as it happens for real in Times Square each New Year's Eve: counting down, cheering, throwing confetti, and celebrating the arrival of midnight.
Responsibilities
- Perform a live, in-character countdown-to-midnight scene for guests, on a repeating loop throughout the day
- Lead the room in counting down and celebrating — real crowd energy, every time, not a phoned-in version of it
- Hit the celebration beats consistently, whether it's your 1st show of the day or your 30th
- Read each new group and adjust your delivery so kids, tourists, and skeptics all walk away with a genuine moment
- Handle guest-facing hosting alongside the performance — answer questions, keeping the room moving safely, take photos
- Reset the set and props between performances
Experience and Qualifications
- Real performance experience — theater, improv, theme park character or entertainment work, scare acting, or another live-audience role
- High, sustained energy and a big personality that reads as genuine, not performative
- Strong customer service instincts — comfortable as both a performer and the face of a guest experience
- Vocal and physical stamina to repeat a high-energy show many times in one shift
- Comfortable with crowds, noise, and confetti
- Reliable and consistent — same energy for the first group of the day as the last
Schedule
Staff will work 2-3 six-hour shifts per week on weekdays and weekends.
