Estate Administration Attorney – Quincy, MA (Hybrid/Onsite)
We are seeking an experienced Estate Administration Attorney to independently manage probate, estate administration, and trust settlement matters from start to finish.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience handling Massachusetts probate proceedings, estate and trust administration, estate tax returns, trust accounting, and direct client interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage probate and estate administration matters.
- Handle trust settlement and trust administration.
- Prepare and file Massachusetts & Federal estate tax returns.
- Prepare probate petitions, court filings, and legal documents.
- Manage estate and trust accounting. Coordinate date-of-death asset valuations.
- Lead client meetings and communicate with courts and financial institutions.
- Manage multiple estate matters simultaneously.
Required Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school. Active Massachusetts Bar License.
- Minimum 3 years of dedicated Estate Administration / Probate experience.
- Strong experience in trust administration.
- Experience with Massachusetts estate tax returns.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Estate Planning experience.
- Probate litigation exposure.
- Trust accounting experience.
- Estate and fiduciary income tax experience.
