About the Role
A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate to support its commercial real estate practice in Boston, Massachusetts. The position involves representing clients in a variety of real estate transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, joint ventures, and financing matters. Attorneys work closely with clients and colleagues on sophisticated transactional matters from inception through closing. The successful candidate will contribute to transaction strategy, prepare legal documents, perform legal research, and assist with complex commercial matters while maintaining direct client relationships. Responsibilities
- Handle commercial real estate transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures, and financing.
- Conduct legal research and analyze issues affecting real estate matters.
- Draft contracts, agreements, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Assist with managing complex transactions from initial planning through completion.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Collaborate with attorneys to develop effective legal strategies.
- Participate in negotiations and other significant transactional activities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in professional development and firm initiatives.
Qualifications
- Three to five years of commercial real estate transaction experience.
- Experience with purchase and sale, joint venture, and financing transactions.
- Strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school.
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
