Job Description
- Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operating system
- Track and trace Air-Ocean Import files as required
- Use Workflows on daily basis
- Ensure timely delivery of freight to customers for Import shipments
- Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes
- Ensure accurate and timely client and Service Providers billing
- Interact with our customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards
- Contribute to maintain strong relationships with suppliers (airlines, Carriers, trucking companies, and others)
- Meet compliance at all times to regulations. This includes internal policies and procedures such as Operational Process Standards (OPS) and external government regulations or customer’s policies / requirements.
- Understand department process flow, constantly looking for areas of improved efficiency
- Ensure all customers' standard operating procedures are followed and updated
- Operating according to our Standard Operation Procedures;
- Support General Manager with General Office duties
- Ability to work with demanding deadlines
- Must be detail oriented, thorough and accurate. Must have proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks, must be organized

Essential functions:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access invoices, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a computer, calculator, copier, and printer.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to exchange accurate information in this situation.
- Work effectively via phone, fax, e-mail. Good planning and organization skills; ability to multitask and be a self-starter
Work Environment:
- Office Setting- Working with others
- Occasionally work in extremely bright or dim lighting conditions.
Requirements:
- Education: GED/High School desired Experience
- Solid knowledge of domestic and international geography including countries, major cities and ocean ports along with basic knowledge of U.S. Regulatory Laws
Shift hours & Payrate:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
Payrate $24- $26 an hour
