Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of our payroll department, ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees. Duties:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, including managing accounts receivable and ensuring accurate records.
- Perform tasks related to payroll management, including account reconciliation, data entry, and technical accounting.
- Operate and maintain payroll accounting software, including PeopleSoft and Kronos.
- Provide support to the accounting team with governmental accounting and other accounting-related tasks.
- Utilize 10-key typing skills to accurately and efficiently complete tasks.
- Collaborate with the human resources department to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency with accounting software, including experience with PeopleSoft and Kronos.
- Strong understanding of payroll management and governmental accounting.
- Ability to perform tasks accurately and efficiently with attention to detail.
- Experience with account reconciliation and technical accounting.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of human resources practices and policies.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
- Strong typing skills, including 10-key typing.

Base Pay: $20.00 per hour
