CADD Drafter

We are seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to support Civil Design and engineering activities for metal-recycling and heavy-industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with hands-on experience preparing site layouts, grading, stormwater and drainage plans, and structural details for industrial environments.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for civil, structural, and industrial projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.Develop civil design site plans, grading plans, stormwater and drainage layouts, utility plans, and erosion control details.Draft structural components including foundations, concrete pads, equipment supports, retaining walls, and steel details.Assist with design documentation for permitting, construction, and internal engineering reviews.Update and revise drawings based on engineering direction, field data, and project requirements.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, field personnel, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.Maintain drawing standards, file organization, and version control across multiple ongoing projects.Support industrial facility layouts, including equipment placement, traffic flow, utilities, operational workflows, and other civil site design elements.Qualifications:2–5 years of drafting experience in civil, structural, or industrial environments.Proficiency with AutoCAD; Civil 3D experience required.Strong understanding of civil design, site development, grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater design.Experience with concrete and structural detailing for industrial facilities.Ability to interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and field notes.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Experience working in metal recycling, heavy industrial, manufacturing, or similar facility environments preferred.
