GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The E2 Team Leader is responsible for coordinating department work activities, training/coaching department employees, monitor the order status of each job through the production process and assisting where needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, direct and coordinate the assemblies/orders for employees within the department, to ensure the orders are shipping on time in a productive manner
- Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments
- Ensure employees are working to the standards that have been established
- Provide employees with assistance in performing difficult or complicated orders
- Any additional duties, as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Manual dexterity and good eyesight are required for inspecting orders
- Possible bending, stooping and lifting up to 50 pounds is required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces
- Must be able to communicate with all levels of employees, customers and visitors
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven work experience as team leader preferred
- Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques required
- Previous computer experience
- Reliable attendance record
- Availability and willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.
