What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Ignited Recruiting?
Our client is looking for a Staff Accountant to join the team in LA (South Bay). Qualified candidates are recent Accounting graduates who are actively pursuing CPA licensure.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Assist with month- and year-end close process
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements
- Perform ad hoc duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA eligible and ideally actively in the process of obtaining CPA licensure
- Team player with effective written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs)
