One of our clients, a notable investment firm, is hiring a Senior Analyst within the corporate finance team. This individual will partner closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to enhance visibility into shared services, drive transparency around internal changes, and support data‑driven decision making across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Own a recurring, enterprise‑critical process that translates corporate and operating expenses into clear, supportable charges to business units, products, and investment vehicles.
- Develop, refine, and maintain methodologies and frameworks that align costs with business activities and strategic priorities, ensuring consistency and defensibility over time.
- Analyze financial, operational, and system data to identify trends, cost drivers, and efficiency opportunities, and convert findings into actionable insights for leadership.
- Partner with technology, accounting, finance, legal, and compliance teams to improve data quality, enhance system integrations, and validate logic within finance and reporting tools.
- Produce clear reporting and visualizations that help stakeholders understand the services, systems, and support functions driving their allocated or shared costs.
- Document key processes and controls, support internal and external reviews, and help maintain the integrity of enterprise‑level financial information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive experience in external audit at a national public accounting firm
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with large or complex data sets, including the ability to translate technical or data‑heavy material into clear narratives for non‑technical audiences.
- Experience collaborating with technology or data teams and using modern reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) to build scalable analytical outputs.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to balance recurring responsibilities with project‑based initiatives in a fast‑paced environment.
