Job Summary
The Human Resource Associate will be responsible for supporting the department in a variety of tasks that support the overall HR function. Responsibilities will include coordination of recognition, engagement and wellness/safety program, administrative support of leaves/accommodations, development or management of department/agency communications, and recordkeeping support.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Coordinates employee recognition and engagement programs and events including Employee Appreciation, Employee of the Month, Employee Anniversaries, and other professional recognition events.
· Assist with administration of personal leaves, extended illnesses, and requests for accommodations related to disability or return from medical-related leaves as needed. Coordinates appropriate documentation and communication between HR, employee, management, or third parties, if applicable.
· Provide administrative support to recordkeeping and contractual updates related to staff apartments, agency staff/invoicing and independent contractors.
· Provide administrative support in recordkeeping related to employee relations, performance management and development related files.
· Assists with distribution of departmental communications and ensure documents are updated appropriately include but not limited to organizational charts, agency directory, and weekly announcements.
· Assist with wellness and safety related programs including oversight of agency fitness center to ensure equipment, space and records are maintained. Assists with facilitation of ongoing programming needs.
· Provide reception coverage and back up to management of office space.
· Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, as needed.
· All other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements and Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of Human Resources experience preferred.
· Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
· Proficiency in MS Office programs including Word, Excel, and Outlook required. Working knowledge of UKG/Kronos and PowerPoint preferred. Comfort learning new technologies.
· Industry experience preferred.

Pay: $52, $58,000.00 per year
