Where You’ll Make a Difference
- Support development and implementation of neuroscience tools to address business needs.
- Collaborate with chemists and data scientists to organize data collection and build tools for flavor creation.
- Monitor progress in neuroscience and chemoperception fields, run competitive analysis, and identify gaps and opportunities.
- Influence generation of business-relevant projects internally and with customers.
- Screen project pipeline, manage priorities, and engage stakeholders to align on approach.
- Execute or drive neuroscience and chemoperception research to generate quality data.
- Analyze data using best practices and collaborate with technical partners to extract actionable insights.
- Harvest and disseminate knowledge from internal and external sources.
- Communicate and present insights effectively to stakeholders, customers, and leadership.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in neuroscience or chemoperception.
- Master’s or PhD in Neuroscience, Experimental Psychology, Biology, Flavor Chemistry or related area.
- Strong knowledge of physiological and brain scanning methods (protocol design, data acquisition, analysis).
- Deep understanding of olfactory and gustatory functions and stimuli.
- Familiarity with sensory discrimination and consumer research methods.
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect science to product design.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural, diverse environment.
- Knowledge in quantitative sensory and consumer methodologies.
- Experience with statistical analysis programs.
- Additional language skills.
