Job Description
As Global Accounts Receivable Specialist you will support the company's global billings and collections function at Reporting directly to the AR/AP Director, you will manage all aspects of accounts receivable, including management and oversight of our off-shore team, in a fast-paced and continuously growing environment. Daily collaboration with our finance, accounting, sales, and customer success teams is essential to ensure a positive and seamless experience for our marketplace customers.

This role will look to deliver a best-in-class customer experience through exemplary service and meticulous attention to detail, gaining significant visibility across the entire organization, including interactions with the senior leadership team.
What you'll be doing…
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports
- Match daily bank data with assigned bank accounts in NetSuite
- Manage past-due collections process, communicate with customers and send monthly statements
- Review incoming cash, post intercompany transfers, assist with applying USD and foreign currency payments and post incorrect foreign currency payments received
- Respond to customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, statements and audit requests
- Investigate exceptions and discrepancies, and track payments from Marketplace customers
- Provide guidance and day-day support to our off-shore bookkeeping team
- Assist with ad hoc projects as they arise
- Help develop and refine internal processes relate to billing and collections tasks
- Monthly Bank Reconciliations for Assigned Bank Accounts
Qualifications you need…
- BA/BS degree in accounting, finance or related field; or certificate/work experience equivalent
- NetSuite experience preferred
- 4 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably with a global multi-national life science or technology operations
- Advanced MS Excel skills and ability to work with large data files
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Pride in the quality of your work and a keen eye for detail
- Growth-centric mindset and constantly pursuing continuous improvement
- Able to work in our Solana Beach office – this is not a remote position
