Accounts Payable Specialist

IES Commercial Inc dba IES Electrical is looking for a full-time AP Specialist to join our Holdrege, NE office.  Company growing, low turnover.  

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or work authorization support. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.

 Job Summary

• Timely and accurate processing of payments.
• Analyze vendor accounts, resolve discrepancies.
• Receive and process vendor invoices.
• Assist with month-end, year-end and various audits.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
• Maintain required documentation for all responsibilities assigned.
• Complies with all company safety policies and procedures.   
• Special projects as needed

• Minimum of two years recent office administration and/or accounting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), general accounting software.
• Must have strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong communication (written and oral), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, MVR check and drug test.
