About the Role
Works with the Sr. Project Manager to provide overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects and develops new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area. Manages projects in a manner that exceeds our customers' expectations and ensures that our work adheres to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA mandated requirements. Works with the Sr. Project Manager to establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Represents company in project meetings and assists in labor negotiations, strategy meetings. Manages financial aspects of contracts to protect company’s interest and simultaneously maintains good relationship with clients. Ability to perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work. Work is performed from the Project Site.

Responsibilities
- Provide overall management in all phases of construction for one or more commercial electrical projects.
- Develop new business opportunities relative to a particular Client, group of Clients or geographical area.
- Manage projects to exceed customer expectations and adhere to NEC, company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards.
- Represent the company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations and strategy meetings.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts to protect the company’s interest.
- Perform takeoffs and pricing for change orders and project related work.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years’ electrical construction project management experience in all phases of electrical projects $10M including mission critical, ground-up construction, and remodeling.
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management preferred.
- Valid Electrical License on Journeyman or Master level strongly preferred.
- Proficient computer, communications (oral and written), and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Accubid, Blue Beam, Procore, CX Alloy, BIM360, MS Project, P6 and other industry standards.
- Business knowledge of vendors in respective electrical construction industry.
- Ability to travel.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check and MVR check.
Required Skills
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage financial aspects of contracts.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with mission critical projects.
- Advanced knowledge of electrical construction standards.
