Apprentice Electrician

IES Commercial, Inc. is seeking a full-time Apprentice Electrician in Grand Island, NE.  

Job Summary

• Assists Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling
• Assists with all facets of electrical installation and other duties as directed by supervisor
• Works from all type of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Local travel as required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as apprentice electrician
• Experience with multi-family, student housing or hotel/motel electrical construction
• Nebraska State Electrical Apprentice license or ability to obtain upon hire
• Ability to read a tape measure and construction documents
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug test, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check if applicable for project transfers per customer contract requirements.
