IDR is seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer (Blazor & Azure) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. You will help build and maintain Blazor-based user interfaces integrated with modern .NET backend services, while contributing to reliable, scalable microservices and cloud-native solutions. This is a contract role designed to support an ongoing client initiative.
Position Overview for the Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer (Blazor & Azure)
- Build and maintain Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly) user experiences integrated with .NET backend services
- Design, implement, and version REST APIs across microservices with resiliency and clear service boundaries
- Containerize applications and standardize build/run patterns for dev and CI/CD using Docker/Podman
- Develop and support event-driven Azure Functions for integrations and processing workflows
- Contribute to engineering standards including logging, monitoring, error handling, security-by-design, and coding conventions
Requirements for the Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer (Blazor & Azure):
- Experience building with Microsoft Blazor (Server and/or WebAssembly)
- Strong expertise in modern .NET development, including API development, dependency injection, and async patterns
- Hands-on experience with microservices architecture, including API contracts and resiliency patterns
- Proficiency with Azure services including Azure Functions and Azure Cosmos DB (partitioning, RU/sizing, indexing, and query tuning)
- Solid SQL experience, including schema design and performance-focused query optimization
