We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide (HHA) / PCA to join our team at Ideal Home Care Services. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes. Our mission is to provide in-home care services to not just seniors, but to others who may benefit from them as well. Recovering surgery patients, expectant mothers, physically challenged individuals, veterans, and car accident victims may all have a difficult time caring for themselves in the home, and it's our goal to make a positive impact on their lives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care services to clients, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assist clients with daily living activities, such as meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping

• Monitor and report changes in clients' conditions, including vital signs, behaviors, and symptoms

• Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with clients and healthcare professionals

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of client care and services provided

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination

• Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect for clients' physical, emotional, and social needs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Completion of a state-approved Home Health Aide training program

• Current certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA)

• Prior experience in home health care or related field preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition clients as needed
