REGISTERED NURSE- ICU
What You Bring to the Team:
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU nursing experience
- Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response
- Expertise in managing multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and complex ventilator support
- Strong IV therapy skills including arterial lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration
- Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips for critical patient stabilization
- Competence in thoracic procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal and ventilator management
- Familiarity with infection prevention protocols and PPE use
- Effective communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments
Additional Skills That Set You Apart:
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Knowledge of surgical wounds, wound vacs, and isolation precautions
- Ability to assist with advanced respiratory therapies like BiPAP and CPAP
Requirements:
- Active Illinois RN license
- At least 18 months of experience in a critical care setting
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required
- Cardiac monitoring and emergency response training
$2242includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
