Occupational Therapist - SNF/LTC
Location: Brookings, Oregon
Schedule / Job Type: Travel with SNF experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ functional abilities related to daily living activities (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve motor skills, cognitive function, and independence.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure holistic management.
- Document patient progress accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic strategies and adaptive equipment to support ongoing recovery and independence.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Oregon.
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in SNF or LTC settings.
- Strong clinical skills, particularly in geriatrics and long-term care.
- Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience with geriatric populations in skilled nursing or long-term care facilities.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for SNF/LTC settings.
$2500 includes taxable hourly rate plus meals and lodging stipend.
