We are seeking a highly motivated Research Technician or Postdoctoral Researcher to join our growing cancer drug discovery program in the Department of Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Idaho State University.
Our research focuses on the discovery and development of innovative therapies targeting cancer cell-cycle regulators and other emerging oncology targets through medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, pharmacology, and translational cancer research.
Areas of interest include:
β’ Cancer cell biology
β’ Drug discovery and development
β’ Pharmacology and molecular pharmacology
β’ Cell signaling and therapeutic resistance
β’ Targeted protein degradation and chemical biology
β’ Translational oncology
Qualifications:
πΉ Research Technician: B.S. or M.S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Cancer Biology, or a related field.
πΉ Postdoctoral Researcher: Ph.D. in Cancer Biology, Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline.
Experience with mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, flow cytometry, Western blotting, microscopy, or drug screening assays is highly desirable.
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to contribute to federally funded projects focused on next-generation cancer therapeutics while working in a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment.
