We are currently looking for a
Account Executive
Full-time position (40 hours/week)
In your role as an Account Executive, you are part of the Account Executive team, reporting directly to the Area Manager.
You are responsible for the end-to-end Quote-to-Cash process. The challenge is to realize the agreed service level (in full on time) of products and related services against the lowest possible integral added cost for our customers. The main drivers are speed, expertise (knowledge of IDA products and services), accuracy (first time right) and clarity in communication. As an Account Executive you actively signal disruptions in the process, propose solutions for improvement and participate actively in improvement initiatives. You contribute in a positive way to the whole customer service team, seeking help from, and offering help to, team members.
As an Account Executive, you are mainly responsible for:
Completing correct and on time submission of quotations;
Monitoring and following up quotes according to the SLA and follow up with customers as needed;
Driving and realizing upselling;
Deciding on best route to market according to IDA policy (stock vs direct shipment);
Managing sales orders according to customer requirements;
Processing cancellations according to policy;
Providing excellent customer service
Education & Experience
MBO with focus on Account Management, Economics, Logistics and Supply Chain or similar;
Minimum 2 years of working experience in a similar role in an international environment;
Excellent skills in Excel;
Experience with an ERP system, preferably JD Edwards;
Affinity with international development / IDA's mission.
Skills & Characteristics
Result oriented, willingness to operate in a challenging environment;
Solid understanding of business processes, preferably in an international Supply Chain environment;
Solid analytical and critical decision-making skills;
Strong planning and organization skills;
Ability to perform root-cause analysis and problem resolution;
Team-oriented and good interpersonal communication skills;
Ability to manage stakeholders effectively at all levels (both internal and external)
Language
Fluency in written and spoken English
Intermediate / advanced French is required
