What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at ICX Group?
We’re partnered with a high-end dealership in Ft. Lauderdale looking to bring on an experienced Controller to lead the accounting and financial operations of the business.
This is a key leadership role with strong visibility, ideal for someone who can own the full accounting function and drive financial accuracy and performance.
What you’ll be doing:
• Oversee daily accounting operations (A/P, A/R, general ledger)
• Manage month-end close and prepare financial statements
• Reconcile bank accounts, schedules, and balance sheet accounts
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and overall financial performance
• Maintain strong internal controls and office procedures
• Ensure accuracy, organization, and timeliness across all financial processes
• Manage high-value transactions with strong attention to detail
What they’re looking for:
• 10 years of accounting experience (automotive industry preferred)
• Strong background in financial reporting and month-end close
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls
• Experience in dealership accounting is a plus
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
