Payroll Administrator

Job Title: Payroll Administrator
Location: Westlake, OH 44145 (100% on-site)
End-Client: Large Oil & Gas Company
Pay: $30 - $33.53/hr.

Job Type: 12 – month contract role

Duties and Responsibilities

·         Open and distribute the payroll mail

·         Scan the Garnishment & Child Support Orders to ADP

·         Follow up with ADP on the scanned Garnishment & Child Support Orders

·         Complete and scan the Medical Support Orders

·         Follow up on the Medical Support Orders

·         Assist field management and front-line employees with payroll inquiries and following through to resolution of the issue

·         Provide problem resolution for vendor pay card issues for assigned locations

·         File all garnishments, medical support orders, W4 paperwork, direct deposits into employee files

·         Perform data entry related to employee tax changes, direct deposit changes, and other entries in the payroll system

·         Process and mail out paychecks and vacation details, for certain employees, after each pay is completed

·         Assist payroll team on special projects as they arise

Qualifications

·         High School Diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree preferred

·         Minimum of one year working in a business/professional environment preferred

·         Experience working on Payroll preferred

·         High level of proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel and Word

·         Knowledge of Human Resources functions is preferred

·         Ability to learn quickly

·         Possess a high attention to detail and critical thinking skills

·         Proficient written and verbal communication skills
