About the Role

We are seeking a Sales Representative / Sales Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives at the intersection of sales strategy and technical solutions. You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities while serving as a key liaison between customers, sales, and technical teams.

This position plays an integral role throughout the full sales lifecycle—from opportunity assessment and proposal development to negotiation and contract management—ensuring customer requirements are effectively translated into technical and commercial solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute tender and proposal strategies aligned with organizational objectives
  • Conduct headquarters-level reviews of key tender and proposal components
  • Determine tender and proposal disposition and manage customer clarifications
  • Develop opportunity assessments and engagement plans
  • Identify, capture, and qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Plan and execute cross-sell and sell-up strategies
  • Prioritize opportunities based on strategic and financial impact
  • Negotiate sales terms and conditions
  • Prepare and manage sales quotations and determine quote disposition
  • Prepare and manage contract documentation, including:
  • Contract amendments
  • Contract renewals
  • Contract suspensions
  • Early contract terminations
  • Investigate sales- or contract-related events and validate findings
  • Collect and analyze market activity and competitive intelligence
  • Collect and analyze unit-level intelligence
  • Collaborate closely with technical, operations, and commercial teams to ensure customer requirements are met throughout the sales process


Qualifications

Required:

  • Experience in sales, business development, or sales engineering within a technical, manufacturing, or industrial environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage proposals, tenders, and quotations
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to assess sales opportunities and develop effective engagement strategies
  • Experience working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and meet deadlines

Preferred:

  • Experience with contract lifecycle management
  • Background supporting complex or solution-based sales cycles
  • Familiarity with structured sales processes and opportunity management
  • Experience analyzing market trends and competitive intelligence
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate customer requirements into effective solutions
