Job Title: Case Management Processor (Case Management Support Coordinator)

Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in Texas)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (1-hour lunch)

Contract Duration: Through 09/15/2027 (extension possible based on business needs; no FTE conversion expected)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Case Management Processor to provide non-clinical support for care management operations. This role is responsible for coordinating case management activities, supporting clinical staff, and ensuring efficient communication between members, providers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is committed to delivering high-quality service while maintaining strict confidentiality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform initial review and triage of case management tasks and referrals based on established workflows
  • Support Case Managers by reviewing member data and assisting in care plan implementation under clinical guidance
  • Screen members using internal policies to help identify appropriate medical and support services
  • Coordinate services in alignment with member benefit plans and authorization requirements
  • Facilitate communication between internal teams, providers, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Generate and analyze reports to support care coordination and tracking
  • Provide administrative support including handling calls, research, and documentation tasks
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory and accreditation standards
  • Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of experience in a healthcare administrative or support role (medical assistant, office assistant, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Windows-based systems and data entry (minimum 40 WPM)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to confidentiality

Additional Details

  • Fully remote position (Texas residency required)
  • Equipment provided includes laptop, headset, and peripherals; dual monitors and docking station required (provided or reimbursed)
  • Contract role ending September 15, 2027, with possible extension based on operational needs
