As an IT Support Technician, specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Duties:
- Provide a highly responsive IT point of contact for all TAC test workstations and infrastructure.
- Perform adaptive reconfiguration of test suites and test workstations.
- Broad working knowledge of NGA IT policies, program responsibilities, and process for accomplishing needed IT tasks.
- Develop and present effective technical presentations to senior management and to technical/non-technical audiences; must possess strong written and verbal communications skills.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of experience in Management and specializing in managing resources, staffing, and costs supporting a Government contract.
- Requires in depth coordination with the NGA IT service contract program office and IT services contractor team.
- Experience scoping level-of-effort for tasks and providing accurate costs and resource estimates.
- Capable of working individually, collaboratively, and report to a department head.
- Contributes to complex aspects of projects and conduct root cause problem analysis to develop technical solutions.
- Mid-level experience in the field of IT Support or related fields with the skills to work independently and seek guidance when needed.
- 4 years of experience in one or more disciplines of Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering or Business, or other related fields.
