IT Support Technician (eClinicalWorks EMR)

Job Title: IT Support Technician (eClinicalWorks EMR) - Fulltime positionLocation: Falls Church, VA (Onsite)Full time position.JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for maintaining IT system and providing technical support to staff by installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software, maintaining networks, setting up user accounts, and resolving basic technical issues, often acting as a first point of contact for IT-related queries; also assisting with documentation and administrative tasks related to IT systems.Note: Extensive eClinical Works EMR knowledge and experience is a mustPRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Under the supervision of the IT Manager:1. Hardware and software maintenance and support: Installing, upgrading, and troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues, including operating systems and applications.2. Network maintenance: Monitoring network performance, identifying and resolving network connectivity issues.3. User account management: Creating, managing, and resetting user accounts and access levels.4. Technical troubleshooting: Diagnosing basic technical problems and providing solutions to users.5. Helpdesk support: Answering technical inquiries from users via phone, email, or ticketing system.6. System documentation: Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation on IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.7. Data entry and administrative tasks: Performing data entry, managing inventory of IT equipment, and handling administrative tasks related to IT.8. Assist in creating technical training for staff9. New technology evaluation: Researching and proposing new technologies to improve IT infrastructure10.
