Position Summary
ICER Brands is seeking an organized and motivated Production Assistant to join our Production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in apparel production and sourcing. You'll work closely with our Production Managers, Design, Technical Design, and overseas factories to help ensure products move efficiently from development through production.
Responsibilities
- Create and issue purchase orders within internal systems.
- Update purchase order revisions and maintain accurate production records.
- Track production timelines and shipment schedules.
- Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports and follow up on outstanding items.
- Coordinate with overseas vendors regarding production status and approvals.
- Assist in communicating trim, packaging, labeling, and shipping requirements.
- Partner with Design and Technical Design teams to track sample approvals.
- Review production samples for accuracy before bulk production.
- Maintain organized production files and vendor communications.
- Support Production Managers with daily administrative and operational tasks.
- Help ensure projects remain on schedule and deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Internship or previous apparel experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Experience with PLM or ERP systems is a plus.
- Korean or Mandarin/Cantonese language skills are strongly preferred.
