Position Summary
ICER Brands is seeking an experienced Senior Production Assistant to support the production lifecycle from purchase order issuance through final shipment. The ideal candidate has prior apparel production experience, understands garment manufacturing processes, and is comfortable communicating directly with overseas factories to ensure production stays on schedule.
Responsibilities
- Manage production purchase orders from issuance through shipment.
- Maintain and update production WIP reports and shipment tracking.
- Communicate daily with overseas factories regarding production status, timelines, and issue resolution.
- Ensure vendor compliance with company and customer requirements.
- Coordinate fit samples, PP samples, TOP samples, and production approvals with Technical Design and Design teams.
- Review packaging, trims, labeling, and garment construction prior to production.
- Track critical path milestones and proactively identify potential delays.
- Coordinate shipping instructions and ensure all production documentation is complete.
- Maintain accurate production data within company systems.
- Work cross-functionally with Design, Merchandising, Logistics, Sourcing, and Sales.
- Support Production Managers with vendor negotiations and production planning.
- Assist in improving production processes and workflow efficiencies.
Qualifications
- 3 years of apparel production experience.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, trims, fabrications, fit process, and apparel manufacturing.
- Experience working directly with overseas factories.
- Ability to manage multiple production calendars simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with ERP or PLM systems (Simparel experience is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment.
- Fluency in Korean or Mandarin/Cantonese is strongly preferred due to frequent communication with international manufacturing partners.
