JOB SUMMARY
ICEqube is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team at our Greensburg and Jeannette facilities. The Quality Control Inspector will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to quality and excellence. The Quality Inspector will uphold ISO standards while maintaining a safe and clean workspace. They will be responsible for incoming, outgoing, and in process inspections. The results from the inspections will be communicated to the appropriate teams to generate corrective actions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Apply and uphold ISO standards to ensure quality and safety standards.
- Create corrective actions.
- Monitoring manufacturing operations and ensuring they run smoothly.
- Read blueprints, wire diagrams, mechanical drawings, and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.
- Provide recommendations for any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes based on inspection findings.
- Remove products that do not meet production standards and communicate to production supervisors.
- Proficiency is use of measuring devices and equipment.
- Accepting or rejecting finished production line work through standards.
- Perform inspections at random to assess product quality.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma: some college or post-secondary certificate preferred.
- Attention to detail and through in completing work tasks.
- Computer literate with operation of MS Office Suite. Experience with CAD software a plus.
- Follow current ISO structure while completing day-to-day tasks.
- Self-starter while driving improvements and completing inspections.
- Thorough understanding of Quality Control standards and testing techniques.
- Keen eye for details, thoroughness, and accuracy while performing a task.
- Problem solving mentality with a results driven approach.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively.
- Ability to bend, stoop, sit and/or stand for periods of time.
- Must be able to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to sheet metal, coils and other parts requiring use of hand tools.
- Engage and collaborate with other employees, vendors, and client requests.
