To assist with the financial accounting functions, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Manage daily deposits and maintain corporate credit card accounts.
- Process vendor payments including ACH, wire transfers, duty invoices, and year-end 1099 forms.
- Serve as administrator for Great Plains software, including new user setup and period/year-end closing.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Develop corporate schedules for year-end reviews and audits.
- Complete vendor credit applications and support special finance projects.
- Generate month-end financial reports with supporting notes and analysis.
- Participate in finance team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform additional duties and projects in support the company’s fast-paced environment.
- Salary range $77K-$85K
Requirements
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting preferred.
- 2 years of accounting office experience (or 1–2 years of college coursework in accounting).
- Experience with Great Plains software strongly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to interpret and apply instructions delivered in various formats (written, verbal, diagrams, schedules)
