Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Manager of Colleague Health and Safety MercyOne is seeking a Manager of Colleague Health and Safety to lead and support the health, safety, and well‑being of colleagues across MercyOne Northeast Iowa. This role provides operational and administrative leadership for colleague health programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards while delivering exceptional customer service to colleagues and leaders alike. The Manager partners closely with leadership to support infection control, occupational health, workers’ compensation case management, wellness initiatives, and environmental safety, while also overseeing quality improvement efforts, incident follow‑up, and risk prevention. In addition, this position plays a key role in team development, budgeting, and change leadership—selecting, coaching, and supporting staff while fostering a culture of wellness, safety, and continuous improvement. All work is carried out in alignment with MercyOne’s mission, vision, values, and commitment to caring for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week Salaried/Exempt General Requirements: At least two years recent colleague health and/or related experience, preferably in healthcare Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. BSN preferred Current Iowa RN license. If driving, current Iowa license and auto insurance.
