Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Engineer to support design and development activities. This role is critical in maintaining product integrity, evaluating design improvements, and integrating new components into existing systems. The engineer will work collaboratively to meet cost, reliability, and schedule objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis, design, implementation, and testing of elevator components
- Develop and integrate mechanical system and component designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment and performance
- Conduct performance evaluations and support product improvements
- Create and maintain engineering design documentation
- Support prototype development, testing, and validation activities
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong background in mechanical engineering (system and component design, modeling)
- Proficiency in Creo / Pro Engineer
- Experience with structural analysis using ANSYS or other FEA tools
- Knowledge of Mathcad for engineering calculations and documentation
- Hands-on testing and validation experience
- Familiarity with test and measurement equipment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with elevator systems (nice to have, not required)
