Job Title: End User Computing (EUC) Engineer
Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
Duration: 104 Weeks
Role Summary
The End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is responsible for designing, engineering, securing, and optimizing enterprise end-user environments. This includes desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, and endpoint management platforms such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, Active Directory, and JAMF. The role ensures high availability, security compliance, and continuous improvement of workplace technology services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
- Design, build, and maintain SOE images aligned with enterprise standards
- Manage and update OS images and configurations
- Perform testing (unit, integration, QA) for image validation
- Identify and resolve software conflicts and compatibility issues
- Ensure endpoint security and malware protection during image creation
- Document SOE build procedures and maintain ITSM records
2. Platform Engineering (Intune Administration)
- Design and recommend EUC architecture and platform standards
- Evaluate and implement endpoint management tools and technologies
- Ensure compatibility with enterprise infrastructure
- Document standards, exceptions, and configurations
- Track engineering activities within ITSM systems
3. Software Distribution & Management (Intune / SCCM)
- Develop and maintain software packaging standards (MSI, IntuneWin, etc.)
- Create and test deployment-ready application packages
- Execute software deployments and monitor success rates
- Troubleshoot installation failures and ensure license compliance
- Maintain deployment documentation and performance reports
4. Mobile Device Management (MDM – Intune)
- Configure and administer mobile device management platform
- Develop enrollment processes and device compliance policies
- Manage mobile applications and security configurations
- Monitor device compliance and generate reports
- Provide user support for enrollment and configuration issues
5. Active Directory Management
- Manage AD security controls, policies, and services
- Create and maintain Group Policy Objects (GPOs)
- Perform AD health checks and performance monitoring
- Generate security and compliance reports
- Maintain AD documentation
6. Apple Device Management (JAMF)
- Administer JAMF Pro for macOS and iOS devices
- Deploy configuration profiles and policies
- Package and deploy macOS applications
- Monitor device compliance and inventory
- Troubleshoot device enrollment and management issues
- Maintain JAMF documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, and Windows OS engineering
- Hands-on experience with SOE image creation and deployment
- Expertise in software packaging and endpoint security
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory and GPO management
- Experience in Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Familiarity with JAMF for macOS/iOS device management
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills
