Role: Electro-mechanical Engineer
Location: Milpitas, California
Job description
5 years of experience in Electro-mechanical Design and development lifecycle
Knowledge in Electrical Power distribution, wiring design, harness design
Experience in design and development of electro-mechanical packaging like server racks, power distribution units and PCB packaging
Must have worked through the development cycle & should have thorough knowledge on wiring & harness component selection
Must have experience in preparation of manufacturing BOM
Cable routing and cable management of AC, DC and Fiber optic
sExperience in testing of electro-mechanical sub-systems and cables
Should be able to understand System Architecture using IO List for Industrial Equipment
Knowledge in PLC Programming
Able to select Electrical and Electronics components like Circuit breaker, contactors, relays, connectors, wire/cable, PLC, Sensors etc and Equivalent replacement for obsolete parts
Understand Thermal Management, safety and communication requirements of Electrical Panels and Equipment
Experience in Engineering change management and ECO
Coordination with Offshore and cross-functional team
Cable Routing procedures Review and Validation
Cable installation and Audit on the machines
Semiconductor equipment design and build experience
