We are actively looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with 7 years of experience in designing electronic enclosures for advanced hardware products.
Job Summary:
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 7 years of experience designing electronic enclosures.
Design and deliver next-generation networking systems (modular and fixed chassis) and cards that meet customer requirements.
Develop innovative mechanical solutions using sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast materials that comply with EMI, safety, and other standards.
Create 3D CAD models using Creo or NX and detailed drawings applying GD&T principles.
Perform 2D tolerance analysis for complex electro-mechanical assemblies.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to resolve design issues impacting field or production.
Exchange PCB design IDF files with ECAD/hardware teams and address mechanical integrity concerns.
Host peer and cross-functional design reviews.
Proficiency in 3D MCAD tools (Creo/NX).
Experience with sheet metal design for mid to high volumes, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast tooling.
