What are the responsibilities and job description for the MIG Welder position at I&L Staffing?
Temp To Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Weld parts as specified on blueprints or work order
Weld mild steel and or stainless-steel parts using MIG and TIG process
Perform torch, stick, tig, carbon steel, stainless steel, welds with flux-core and hard wire
Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
Perform quality checks on materials being used in the conveyor weldments
Well components for Screw Conveyors and bucket elevators Etc.
Must be able and willing to Cross Train others per team leader specification
Work daily with (ERP) system issuing time and materials to the projects that are being manufactured.
Work experience requirements:
2 years of Experience minimum
Must be Certified Welder
Requirements:
Must be able to read a tape measure
Ability to read blueprint drawings
Lift up to 30 pounds
Ability to use common hand tools, power sanders, grinders.
Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors.
Able to prepare work material and dress weld on product
Forklift and overhead crane Experience
Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing PPE (safety glasses, Mask, Steel toe shoes)
Able to stand entire shift
