Sr. Systems & Infrastructure Engineer

Hyperion Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Senior Systems & Infrastructure Engineer to join our Information Technology team based out of Memphis, TN. Reporting to the Director of IT, this position plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company’s core IT systems and infrastructure across multiple locations. Responsibilities include supporting server platforms, virtualization environments, network infrastructure, security technologies, and operational systems that enable the organization’s daily business operations.

The Senior Systems & Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with IT leadership to support infrastructure modernization initiatives, implement enterprise technology platforms, and ensure the stability, performance, and security of the company’s IT environment. Success in this role means delivering reliable and secure systems and network infrastructure, supporting multi-site operations, and helping drive technology improvements that enable the organization to operate efficiently and scale for future growth.

This position is based on-site in Memphis, TN and will require up to 50% travel to our other locations.

Primary Responsibilities:Infrastructure & Systems Administration

• Manage and maintain company infrastructure including virtual servers, physical servers, storage platforms, and operating systems.
• Monitor system performance, ensure system availability, and implement improvements to increase reliability and stability.
  
  

Network & Security Infrastructure

• Manage network infrastructure including firewalls, VPN connectivity, switching, and wireless networks across multiple company locations.
• Support firewall configuration, security policy management, and network troubleshooting to ensure secure and reliable connectivity between sites.
  
  

Endpoint & IT Operations Platforms

• Lead implementation and administration of IT operational platforms including ConnectWise RMM, remote support tools, endpoint management, and patch management systems.
• Assist with automation and operational improvements that increase visibility and efficiency of IT operations.
  
  

Cybersecurity & Monitoring

• Support deployment and management of endpoint detection and response (EDR) and SIEM/MDR security platforms.
• Assist with centralized log monitoring for endpoints, servers, firewalls, and Microsoft 365 to improve threat detection and incident response capabilities.
  
  

Backup, Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity

• Manage backup systems and disaster recovery processes to ensure data protection and rapid recovery capabilities.
• Assist with development and maintenance of disaster recovery plans and operational documentation.
  
  

Project Implementation & Infrastructure Modernization

• Support infrastructure modernization initiatives including network standardization, firewall replacements, and cloud integration projects.
• Assist IT leadership with technical planning and implementation of new infrastructure solutions across company locations.
  
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
• 5 years of experience in infrastructure, systems administration, or network engineering roles
• Experience managing Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware, HyperV, or similar)
• Experience supporting network infrastructure including firewalls, VPNs, and switching
• Experience implementing or supporting endpoint security platforms (EDR), monitoring platforms, or SIEM solutions preferred
• Experience working with Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, and cloud services preferred
• Experience with IT operational platforms such as ConnectWise, Intune, or other RMM tools preferred
