What you’ll tackle Job-shop teardown, inspection, repair, and assembly of large pumps, valves, and rotating equipmentHands-on maintenance and rebuilds of centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, pump seals, and their support systemsBlueprint and assembly drawing interpretation to ensure accurate fit-up and rebuild qualityPrecision measurement using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection toolsApplication of deep mechanical aptitude to diagnose issues and verify that pump components function together as designed What you bring Minimum 5 years of hands-on, job-shop repair experience with large rotating equipmentExperience across a range of rotating assets: centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, and seal/support systemsMillwright mechanic background, or formal training from an accredited technical college/trade school, or completion of an equivalent multi-year apprenticeshipHigh mechanical aptitude and the ability to read blueprints and assembly drawingsAbility to use and interpret micrometers, calipers, gauges, and inspection toolingSolid understanding of the individual components that comprise a pump and how they interact Why Hydro Excellent compensation for the right candidateAbundant opportunities for professional growthJoin us in Denver and put your millwright expertise to work where precision and reliability matter.
