Core responsibilities of our Product Engineering Assistant
- Assist engineers with product builds, testing, validation, and troubleshooting
- Execute teardown evaluations on tested product or customer returned product
- Collect data, track performance, and prepare reports on results
- Maintain and update engineering-controlled production documentation, including engineering releases and BOMs, engineering change orders, production schematics, etc.
- Support product activities, including assembly and preparing for testing
- Process customer and in-house engineering sample requests
- Lead inventory management on selected engineering change projects and sample requests
- Maintain and improve conditions of designated product engineering areas (Teardown Room, Build Room, etc.)
- Replenishment of stock expendable items in product engineering areas
- High school diploma or GED
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment is highly valued
- Experience in basic analysis and reports
- Mechanical understanding of basic teardown tools
- Proficient in computer skills using Excel, Word, and PowerPoint applications
