Core Responsibilities of our Aftermarket Specialist:
- Build and strengthen partnerships with dealers and distributors through regular face-to-face visits and proactive communication
- Report findings, trends, and competitive insights to internal stakeholders in a timely and actionable manner
- Support structured market research initiatives and contribute data-driven insights to guide product development and business strategies
- Recommend product and process improvements based on dealer, distributor, or end-user feedback
- Lead dealer and distributor education on Hydro-Gears’s products and value propositions to improved sell through
- Provide training on Hydro-Gear’s processes (warranty submission, parts system, forecasting, ordering, etc.) to facilitate efficient communications and healthy relationships
- Actively identify opportunities to enhance the Hydro-Gear customer experience
- Collaborate cross-functionally if necessary to ensure long-term, systemic fixes for recurring issues
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in Business, Marketing, or related field
- Two to three years of related experience in aftermarket sales, dealer engagement, or marketing preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Domestic travel up to 25% (mostly scheduled by candidate)
- Strong written and verbal skills for customer interaction
