Job Title: Stockroom Lead
Position Summary
The Stockroom Lead is responsible for overseeing daily stockroom operations to ensure accurate inventory control and timely material support for production. This role leads stockroom personnel, maintains organization, and ensures materials are received, stored, and issued in an efficient and controlled manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily stockroom operations including receiving, storage, picking, and issuing of materials
- Supervise and support stockroom staff; assign work and monitor productivity
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts and inventory control practices
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and organized
- Pull and stage materials for production orders and ensure timely delivery to the floor
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies
- Maintain FIFO (First-In, First-Out) inventory practices
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Production, and Shipping departments
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3 years of stockroom, warehouse, or inventory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous lead or supervisory experience required
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred (Made2Manage a plus)
- Forklift experience preferred

- Ability to read and follow work orders and inventory documentation

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
- Ability to work in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Hourly range: $19hr-$20hr
